Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Janice Vlasak Weinman is a dedicated and experienced dentist who has been providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients of all ages for over three decades. She opened her solo general and cosmetic dental practice, Seguin Smiles, in a state-of-the-art facility in July 2008. Before establishing her practice in Seguin, Dr. Weinman served patients in Gonzales, Texas from 1989 to 2008.

Continuing her commitment to the Gonzales community, Dr. Weinman opened Smiles of Gonzales in March 2026 — a satellite of Seguin Smiles located in the very same building where she proudly served patients from 1989 to 2008, bringing her career full circle.

Dr. Weinman earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas Lutheran College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center. With over 35 years of experience, she offers comprehensive dental services and works closely with a trusted network of specialists for complex cases requiring advanced care.

Dr. Weinman is married to Kevin Seider, whom she reconnected with after 35 years. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling nationally and internationally, swimming, hiking, and spending time in the kitchen. She is especially known for baking birthday cakes for her TEAM, family, and friends.

Dr. Janelle Leon-Weinman is excited to continue her family's legacy of providing quality dental care in Gonzales. She has so many memories of coming to this dental office growing up and has been enjoying connecting with the community again.

Dr. Leon grew up in Seguin and graduated from Seguin High School in 2014. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019 with her Master of Science in Business. She attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2023. She completed a yearlong residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Affairs Dental Clinic in Temple, Texas, where she focused on advanced dental procedures including placing implants and sedation dentistry.

Dr. Leon loves working in the dental field because of the relationships she is able to build, the excellent hands-on work she provides her patients, and the TEAM collaboration that goes into quality care. She is extremely grateful for the mentorship she receives from her mom and aunt.

The best thing about Dr. Leon's time in the Midwest is that she met Luke, her husband! The two got married in Seguin in March 2025. They have the most adorable Shih Tzu puppy, Parker. Dr. Leon also loves reading, knitting, cooking, and hiking. Her 10 years away from home made her very sure that this is the community in which she wants to build her future.

Dr. Gloria Vlasak Haug graduated from Bellville High School as salutatorian in 1973. She attended Texas Lutheran University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1977 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1980.

Dr. Gloria has lived in Gonzales since 1980. She practiced with W.B. Denman, D.D.S. and in 1989 purchased his dental practice. Over the past forty-five years, Dr. Gloria has provided gentle, quality dentistry to the families of Gonzales and the surrounding communities. Her sister, Dr. Janice Vlasak Weinman, practiced with her from 1989 to 2008. Her niece, Dr. Janelle Leon-Weinman, joined the practice in September 2025.

Dr. Gloria is a member of the ADA, TDA, Guadalupe Valley District Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, Gonzales Chamber of Commerce, and Shiner Lutheran Church.

She is married to Darrell Haug. They have a son, David, and his wife Kelli, who live in Seguin with their two children — Micah and Jacey. They have a daughter, Lauren Lys, and her husband Jonathan, who live in Calallen with their two children — Jonah and Lucas. Dr. Gloria enjoys playing piano, reading, eating good food, spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting with her lovely patients.
