Advanced Dental Technology
Precision, Comfort, & Efficiency for Every Patient
The technology we use in your care has a direct and measurable impact on what we can see, what we can do, and how you experience it. Digital X-rays reduce radiation exposure by up to 90% compared to traditional film — while producing sharper images that appear on-screen instantly, allowing us to walk you through our findings in real time.

Cone beam CT imaging gives us a three-dimensional view of your bone, nerves, and anatomy with accuracy that has been documented at 98–99% in pre-surgical implant planning studies. Our dental laser reduces bleeding, speeds healing, and in many cases eliminates the need for sutures entirely.
We've invested in these tools because they produce better outcomes — more accurate diagnoses, more predictable procedures, less discomfort during treatment, and faster recovery afterward. What we can see and plan before we begin directly determines the quality of the result when we're done.

CEREC In-Office Dental Restorations
One appointment, one permanent crown:
For many crown cases, our CEREC technology allows us to design, mill, and place a permanent porcelain crown in a single appointment. Using a digital wand that scans your tooth in seconds, we design your custom restoration digitally and mill it from a solid ceramic block in our in-office machine while you wait. When it's the right choice for your case, that means one appointment and a permanent crown you leave wearing.
Cone Beam CT (3D Imaging)
See what a flat X-ray cannot:
A traditional dental X-ray shows you a flat, two-dimensional snapshot of a three-dimensional structure. That's useful — but it leaves a lot of important anatomy hidden. For implant placement, complex cases, or any situation where bone levels, nerve pathways, or soft tissue matter, a 2D image is simply not enough.
Our cone beam CT scanner creates a full three-dimensional model of your jaw, teeth, sinuses, and nerve canals in a single low-dose scan. When we plan an implant placement using CBCT, we know exactly where the nerves run, exactly how much bone is available, and exactly what angle and depth gives you the safest, most durable outcome.
Laser Dentistry — Odyssey Diode LASER
Precision a scalpel cannot match:
Our Odyssey Diode LASER handles soft-tissue procedures — gum treatment, tissue reshaping, periodontal therapies — with a level of precision that a scalpel simply cannot match. Laser energy targets only affected tissue, which means less trauma to healthy surrounding tissue, less bleeding, faster healing, and in many cases no sutures needed afterward.
For patients receiving treatment for gum disease, laser-assisted therapy is meaningfully more comfortable than traditional methods. For patients who are anxious about anything involving cutting or stitches, it removes an entire category of worry.

Digital X-Rays
Higher resolution, significantly less radiation:
Digital radiography produces higher-resolution images than traditional film, with significantly less radiation exposure. Images appear on-screen in seconds. We use the chairside screen to walk you through exactly what we're seeing in real time — because informed patients make better decisions, and this makes that possible.
Intraoral Camera
See what we see:
Before we describe something in your mouth, we can show it to you. Our intraoral camera captures high-definition images from angles you've never seen before. When you can see what we see, the conversation about your care becomes a genuine collaboration rather than a one-way briefing. Nothing we recommend comes without visual evidence you can examine yourself.
Why This Technology Matters, Especially Here
You shouldn't have to drive to San Antonio for this:
Patients in major metro areas take for granted that specialist-level technology is nearby. In south-central Texas, that has historically meant a long drive to San Antonio or Austin for imaging, surgery, or complex restorative work. We've made it a deliberate priority to change that for our community — to bring the quality of care and tools that urban specialty practices offer to a practice in Gonzales where people are known, valued, and genuinely cared for.
