Dentures & Partial Dentures in Gonzales, TX

Restoring Function, Confidence, and Quality of Life

If you've been told you need dentures — or you've been quietly wondering whether it's time — you may be carrying a picture in your mind of what that means. Uncomfortable. Artificial-looking. A constant reminder of what's missing. That picture belongs to an earlier era of dentistry, and it doesn't reflect what's possible today.

The Smiles of Gonzales Approach to Dentures & Partials

  • Private, family-owned practice — the doctors who design your denture are the same ones who fit it, adjust it, and see you at every follow-up
  • Try-in phase included — you evaluate appearance and fit before anything is finalized, nothing is permanent until you’re satisfied
  • Implant-supported denture option available in-house — eliminates loosening, adhesive, and the rocking that makes traditional dentures frustrating
  • Post-placement follow-up appointments built into your care plan — fit is an ongoing process and we stay with you through it

A well-made, well-fitted denture restores your ability to eat, speak, and smile —

and move through your day without your teeth being a source of difficulty.

Full (Complete) Dentures

When all teeth in an arch are missing or need to be removed, a full denture replaces the entire row. We take detailed impressions of your ridge anatomy, assess your jaw relationship carefully, and work through a try-in phase where you evaluate the appearance and fit before the prosthetic is finalized. The goal is a denture that works with your anatomy rather than against it.

Partial Dentures

When some natural teeth remain, a partial denture fills the gaps while attaching to the existing teeth for stability. Well-designed partials distribute chewing forces appropriately, prevent remaining teeth from drifting, and restore both function and appearance. We design partials carefully around the health of the teeth they attach to — because a poorly designed partial can actually harm those teeth over time.

Implant-Supported Dentures, A Meaningful Upgrade

For patients who want the stability and security of a fixed solution, two to four dental implants can anchor a denture in a way that eliminates loosening, adhesive, and the rocking that makes traditional dentures frustrating. An implant-supported denture doesn't shift when you eat or speak. And because the implants stimulate bone beneath them, it slows the jawbone resorption that traditionally fitted dentures accelerate over time.

This is one of the most impactful quality-of-life improvements we provide to patients who have been struggling with poorly-fitting dentures for years. The difference is remarkable.

The Adjustment Period

Any new denture requires an adjustment period. Your muscles, tongue, and bite all adapt to new geometry. This is normal, expected, and temporary. We schedule follow-up appointments specifically to evaluate how your dentures are settling, identify pressure points, and make adjustments. Most patients reach a comfortable equilibrium within a few weeks. We don't consider the work done until you do.

The patients who get the most from their dentures are the ones who give us honest feedback about what's working and what isn't. Fit is an ongoing process — and we're here for all of it.
